Did you know we re-use water to create biogas?

Sensus is determined and excited to contribute to a better environment. We take responsibility for the environmental impact of our operations. We work hard to increase green energy and to manage our water usage.

At this point, the water used during the production process will be re-used at least 3-4 times. In our water treatment plant we produce our own biogas out of used process water. This biogas is used as fuel for steam generation. The biogas created in this way fulfills 30% of our total gas needs.

In this way we reduce the usage of fossil fuels by using sustainable fuel and therefore contribute to reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
